CLICHES
Q: How many ways are there to attack a group of women who point out the sexism in the movement?
A: infinte
Some selected examples:
- call them names: aggressive, feminist, man haters, lesbians...
- criticise their personal lives: tell them they are not having enough sex, that they don't have any sense of humor and that they are hysterical
- attempt to ridicule them constantly
- give a profound and uncomprehensible political critique of their political work, using difficult words
- tell them they do not instigate enough "conflict"
- boycott their night at the social centre by not helping out in any way with techinical equipment
- hang a banner representing four naked female asses from the social centre wall and refuse to take it off or deal with the situation during the "macho free zone" presentation night
- invent absurd excuses to stop them having meetings in your social centre: they forgot a light on, they look ugly, they are sweaty and they look like people that are THINKING!!!
It not taken out of a manual, it's real life experiences here for you!
mood: slightly depressed

it's depressing how difficult it is to challenge gender relations even in 'free' spaces. As a disturbing example, your blog came up on my browser with a 'peeling ad' on the right corner for a dating website! I've never seen that on blogger and I hope it's not a common feature now

Is politics all just a pose for these idioti? Their causes are so abstracted from anything. Put the insecure 'militants' in a dress!
